“Skiving” is thinning the edge of leather at an angle, using a very sharp knife. It’s difficult to learn and takes years to master. I’m proud of Paige for being a very good skiver!

This is the second pair of boot tops I’ll be working on this month.

I’m starting three new boots, and each of them have a really fun top design that I’m looking forward to creating. Here’s a peek at the first:

Dale and I spent most of today moving my new curved needle from his warehouse… to my shop.

The little birds in the back of my shop weren’t at all shy this morning about announcing that I’d allowed the bird feeder to become empty.
