The leather wrapped cord that finishes an edge is called beading. The emotion I’m feeling now that it’s done is called happiness.

Penland School of Craft
I’m teaching an inlay/overlay class at the Penland School of Craft in North Carolina this week. The room is bright and spacious, and I really enjoy teaching here. This is the view from my third floor classroom.

New high heels
My daughter Paige made me a pair of high heels! They fit perfectly and I love them. I didn’t dress for heels today though. The leather is chocolate kangaroo and black hair-on calf. It’s super soft and comfy.
