Ostrich leg

Ostrich leg vamps and counter covers
Ostrich leg isn’t wide enough for a full vamp so they have to be pieced. You’d have to find an ostrich with cankles to make a full vamp.

Paw prints wingtip

The puppy paw prints wingtip is in leather now. Cutting and skiving is finished; next I’ll inlay in the colors.

Puppy paw prints wingtip
This a heart -shaped leaf that I often do but it took on added significance in this wingtip. The boot tops feature portraits of two dogs, one of which has died and is deeply missed by its owner.
