American Craft magazine

There’s a lovely article about me in the current issue (August/September) of American Craft magazine. It’s not up on their website yet, but here’s a look at it.

About customboots

I'm a custom cowboy boot maker. I own a business, Sorrell Custom Boots, and I create bespoke cowboy boots using vintage machinery and hand tools. I also own www.sorrellnotionsandfindings.com, a company that specializes in tools, supplies, and leather for the boot and shoe making trade.

Congrats! When I received my copy in the mail and opened it, I started yelling and jumping “Lisa is in here” and it took my husband a few minutes to calm me down to get the details…..”She is a cowboy boots maker from texas, I follow her blog”. He looked at me like I was crazy then said “they way you are excited about this, one would think you know her in real life” lol. Silly me. Anyway, it was a delight to see your work in the magazine. Congratulations.
