Tony Slinger, shoemaker

Dale and I are in England with our friends Carina and PO. Today we visited the shop of Tony Slinger, an absolutely fantastic shoemaker in Yorkshire. I asked many questions and learned a lot.

About customboots

I'm a custom cowboy boot maker. I own a business, Sorrell Custom Boots, and I create bespoke cowboy boots using vintage machinery and hand tools. I also own www.sorrellnotionsandfindings.com, a company that specializes in tools, supplies, and leather for the boot and shoe making trade.

I’m sure he’s a wonderful shoemaker, but your shop is much neater ( as in clean) looking than his! 🙂

  Thanks, but my shop is also much bigger. It’s easier to hide a mess when you can spread it out a little!
