Horse boots

Here I’m getting ready to create the horse head vamp tongue. A regular boot vamp isn’t wide enough for the horses shoulders or tall enough for the horse’s ear. I figured this out the hard way and had to crimp another set of vamps, then wait an extra day for them to dry.

The horse head tongue has been created with inlay and overlay but not stitched. That’s why the horse heads look fat and completely without personality.

And now they have personality! I love the coquettish expression on their faces.

The back of the boots feature a horse’s rump. I think every politician should have a pair of boots with this theme.
Ha. I crack myself up.
