I’m very proud of all I accomplished today. I laid the soles on both pairs of boots, stitched the soles on both, and pegged the soles on the black boots. I’ve left the blue boots in loose plastic bags so the sole doesn’t dry out too much; I’ll peg those tomorrow.
About customboots
I'm a custom cowboy boot maker. I own a business, Sorrell Custom Boots, and I create bespoke cowboy boots using vintage machinery and hand tools. I also own www.sorrellnotionsandfindings.com, a company that specializes in tools, supplies, and leather for the boot and shoe making trade.
Do I recognize those blue boots as the ones that won the prize in the recent European (sorry, don’t remember the exact country) contest???
Chris,
Good eye! Yes, those are the boots that won in the Netherlands. They just got back home yesterday so I’ll post good pictures of them soon.
