I inseamed the “Satan Is Real” shoes yesterday. Inseaming is hand sewing the shoe or boot to the insole while incorporating the welt, which is the narrow strip of leather where the stitches holding the sole are placed.

It’s inseaming day in the boot shop for the “Satan Is Real” shoes.

I always hate their faces when I’m through because I just can’t make them perfect at this size and in this medium. To be fair though, Ira did often have a slightly demented expression in real life.
