I’m working on patriotic themed boots today.

The leather wrapped cord that finishes an edge is called beading. The emotion I’m feeling now that it’s done is called happiness.

My boots and I are delayed at DFW. It will be nice to be home!

This was the view from our classroom window today. I’ve never looked down on a rainbow before!

My daughter Paige made me a pair of high heels! They fit perfectly and I love them. I didn’t dress for heels today though. The leather is chocolate kangaroo and black hair-on calf. It’s super soft and comfy.

I’ve made a small start on this pair of boots too. They have a turquoise foot with chocolate wing and counter tips. I have the wing and counter tips done but there’s a lot more work to go.

Completed design and fitted last–proof I actually got some work done today.

Paige saw me working and thought it would make a good photo. Then, since she had the camera, this happened.
