This is a pair of my boots that came in to be resoled and get a new toe shape. I’m always nervous putting an old pair of boots back onto the last because there’s no extra lasting allowance and one small tear would be fatal. But the hard part is over now!

This is a belt strip, for a belt to match a pair of boots. Since I’m a boot maker, not a belt maker, now I will send it off and let someone else turn it into a belt. 🙂

Tomorrow the fun begins on this pair.

I certainly get to work with pretty colors sometimes. I’m looking forward to making both of these boots.

I think this is a good time to stop and go home.

Tomorrow I’ll build the heels on these boots. They’ll be completed soon!

The new desk has arrived, the delivery men were very nice and helped me move the old desk into the back room (it’s free if you’ll come get it!!), and the wait was worth it. Isn’t it pretty?

These boots are ready for soles, and the soles are prepared.

But instead of laying soles, I’m waiting for my new desk to be delivered. I had asked for ample time to unload my old desk and they assured me they’d give it, but they called this morning to say they were on their way with the desk. I jumped up and literally just dumped drawers in boxes so I’d be ready.
That was well over two hours ago…
Now I don’t know if I should go get in the middle of laying soles or continue to wait…
