Working hands

I finished my YouTube video for May and was proof-watching it. It’s funny–in real life, I’ve always thought my hands were ugly. I have fat stubby fingers, short unpolished nails, one deformed finger, the beginnings of arthritis in both pinkies, and I’m currently missing half a thumbnail because I smashed my thumb. But when I watch my hands in action they’re so beautiful!

One woman band

Today I:
Went to the dentist
Took the long way home so I could eat at Thai Loco
Climbed up on my shop roof to take down some plastic sheeting (and made it back down safely)
Took a 46 pound box of lasts to the post office, destination Japan
Built these heels and rough-shaped them
I wanted to finish this pair of boots but I ran out of time (and energy).
