If you’ve been wanting to take a leather inlay/overlay class, now would be the time to sign up. Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a beautiful little town.
I’m a little bit excited about this… It’s my first solo exhibit at a museum!! And I get to be there on opening day! You might want to go see this exhibit if you’re near Canton, Ohio.
These boots will be completed soon; there are only a few more heel layers left to do!

Once a year I forget all of my responsibilities and go to a bluegrass festival with my mom and sister. My sister is sleeping in this morning though, so we’ll see her later.

I’ve started a new video series on my YouTube channel, “It’s a Boot Life.” I’m making a beautiful pair of inlaid boots, and I’ve filmed myself throughout the entire process. This series will show me making a pair of boots from start to finish, but speeded up so you don’t have to watch 50 hours of video. In this, the first video, you’ll see approximately 10 hours of creating the inlaid boot tops, compressed into 14 minutes.

Always and forever my favorite student.

I inseamed these boots today. These are for a small lady; they don’t take nearly as much time to inseam as a big size 13!
