No laser cutter here

My friend Marcell Mrsan, shoemaking professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, called me a few minutes ago. He had shown some of my work to his students and they were refusing to believe I didn’t have a laser cutter so he called and put me on speakerphone. I announced that I have an X-Acto knife and fingers–no laser cutter.

This morning I’ve been working on the top band for the navy alligator boots. I’ve cut out the leaves and skived all of the edges.
