I’ve started building the heels on my November boots, the front room of my shop is much cleaner, the back room still needs work, and I’m leaving it all to go home and prepare for Thanksgiving tomorrow with my family. To those of you who celebrate it, have a happy Thanksgiving Day!

I have a large and empty front room now. I'm threatening to put a ping pong table in it but I'm afraid I'm going to fill it up before I get one.

My Mondays are usually fully occupied with phone calls, emails, errands, and everything but boot making. However, I did manage to get these one step closer to being finished. I’m getting ready to put them on the trees where they’ll sit overnight and I hope to completely finish them tomorrow.
