These are actually trash–they’re the pieces I’ve cut out of a top band that will be inlaid.

I think I’m lucky to get to work with such beautiful shapes. It makes me happy.

I finished these boots yesterday and they’re mine! Dale took me out last night to celebrate my birthday and I wore them for the first time. I’ve named them “Sixteen Tons.”

This pair of boots will be picked up by their new owner this afternoon. I’ve named them “Jealous Heart.” They’re hunter green alligator, in case the color isn’t clear in the photo.

This pair of boots met their new owner today and all was well. I named them “On the Wings of a Dove.”

I cleaned out my “go ahead and measure me in case I want to order boots someday” drawer.
