The horse boots are completed and have been sent to the client. Since this client designed the boots himself I allowed him to choose the name also. They’re titled “Pastoral Symphony.”
Here’s a close-up of the horse head that forms the boot tongue.

Paige has started a new pair of shoes. She wants the toe to be pointed so she asked me to change the toe shape on her last.

Paige has finished another pair of shoes. These are her shoes and what she wrote about making them:
“It took me a few more days to finish them than I anticipated, but here they are! I’ve had a busy week. I not only started my Senior Year of high school, but I’m also enrolled in a local college where I take one online college class per semester along with my normal high school classes. I can’t wait to go back to school on Monday wearing my handmade, cranberry red loafers!”

My student and I stayed late and pegged the soles of our boots. I am both tired and glad we got it done.
