In spite of the look on Robert’s face, both of my current students really are excited about my cowboy boot making class. 🙂 They’re doing a great job!

I’ve started a new cowboy boot making class with two students. Robert stitching his boot tops. Amber stitching her boot tops. Amber and Robert making counters.

This is a progressive look at putting together a fancy top band.

I just finished these boots. This design is titled ” A Satisfied Mind.”

Paige was featured on the news here in Oklahoma this afternoon. Here’s a link: “Is This a Great State or What?”

I cut out and skived many small pieces today. The next pair of boots has been started!

This is the most recent pair of shoes made by my daughter Paige.

I finally got these boots finished and on the trees this afternoon. We’re having damp weather so they’ll need to stay on the trees until Thursday morning to make sure they’re completely dry.

I almost finished this pair too, but the last is stuck in there. I sprayed water down in the boot under the last. The pegs will swell up and become brittle as they dry. Sometimes that makes pulling the last … Continue reading →
