Confession

Confession time:I hate my Louvin Brothers shoes. Satan is standing at an odd angle and Charlie and Ira have demented expressions. I’ve decided to make them again, only better! I’d originally planned to just tweak the design and not mention I was re-making them so all of you would continue to believe I’m perfect. Instead I will generously allow you to follow along as I see what mistakes I can make this time. Plus, I decided to add flames so it’s going to be obvious it’s a different pair. I can’t promise Charlie and Ira’s faces will improve much. It is truly difficult to achieve light and shadow and expression at this scale on a single needle, non-computerized, hand-guided vintage sewing machine with the original clutch motor. One of them will probably still have this expression: 🥴
