Am I posting this picture (gasp, wheeze) to show my progress on this pair, or is posting an update (puff, pant) just a good excuse to take a break after wrestling the lasts out? 🥴

I'm a custom cowboy boot maker. I own a business, Sorrell Custom Boots, and I create bespoke cowboy boots using vintage machinery and hand tools. I also own www.sorrellnotionsandfindings.com, a company that specializes in tools, supplies, and leather for the boot and shoe making trade.

    These boots are so beautiful and amazing, absolutely extraordinary! Is this toe style exclusive to you? I’ve seen quite a few boots in my time, and I do not believe I have ever seen this toe style. Thanks

      No, I got this toe style from my first mentor, Jay Griffith. You might spot it from other boot makers who were trained or influenced by Jay. He called it the Streamlined Square toe.
