We finally made it to our hotel in Charlotte.

I think the Smokey Mountains would have been pretty but I can’t say with certainty because it was dark.

The Tennessee section of I-40 is 455 miles (732 km) long, the longest of any state. I can testify to this from personal experience.

    Yup, I can testify Tennessee i-40 is that long plus 3 inches. Been down that stretch of road more than once!
