A new order of Baker Leather arrived at my shop this morning. There are some really nice heavy insole shoulders in this order.

My daughter Morgan has started a blog and her first post is about working in the shop with me. Since she’s a great writer and really funny, I suggest you follow her.

Emelie and I laid the soles on our boots today and stitched and pegged them. Tomorrow we’ll build the heels. They’re almost finished!

These are the colors I’ve chosen for an upcoming pair of boots. At this point I don’t have a design or a client but I have the colors!

Emelie and I inseamed our boots yesterday. We’ll post pictures of the boots later today after we get the soles on.

Emelie is pegging for the first time today. She says I became her hero the first time she saw me peg!

We’ve turned the boots and will be lasting them this morning. We’ve trimmed the insoles and Emelie is preparing the channel and prepunching the holes for inseaming.

I’ve turned my boots right side out. Emelie is still working on turning her second boot.

These are Emelie’s boot tops. When she goes home to Sweden she’ll have beautiful new cowboy boots!
