My student this week is Rebecca. She’s training to be a shoemaker in Germany and is here for an inlay/overlay class. Since she’s already a shoemaker her project is a set of boot tops which she’ll be able to take home and make into boots. The paper piece is her boot top pattern, the blue leather will be her boot tops, and the smaller pieces are for the inlay and overlay design.
